About Lehrer Fireplace

In 1954 with a $300 loan and a passion for creating art from iron, Joe Lehrer bought an old anvil, vise and welder and started Lehrer Metal Products. After setting up shop across the street from the old family homestead, Denverites started coming to the 4th- generation Coloradoan for custom fireplace screens and accessoris and wrought iron furniture.
